The Journey

A Journey Rooted in Tradition

Hailing from the serene hills of Kuduremukh in Chikmagalur, Karnataka, Dr. Meghana’s journey into Ayurveda began with a deep curiosity and reverence for the natural healing traditions of India. She pursued her B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) from the reputed S.D.M. College of Ayurveda, Udupi, a historic seat of Ayurvedic learning in South India.

Ksharasutra Training under Guru-Shishya Parampara

Dr. Meghana was awarded the prestigious Guru-Shishya Parampara Scholarship by the Government of India to study Ksharasutra, a classical Ayurvedic surgical method for treating ano-rectal disorders. Under the direct mentorship of Dr. Indubhai Dave, a revered Ayurvedic surgeon in Ahmedabad, she performed and assisted in over 2,500 surgeries during her clinical internship — a testament to her dedication, surgical precision, and deep-rooted skill.

Academic Excellence & Teaching Legacy

To deepen her understanding of Ayurvedic philosophy and practice, she pursued her M.D. in Sushruta Samhita, immersing herself in the foundational texts of Ayurveda. For over nine years, she served as a senior faculty member at JSS Ayurveda Medical College, Mysore, and for two years in Cauvery Ayurveda Medical Hospital, mentoring hundreds of young Ayurvedic doctors with the same passion, precision, and authenticity that shaped her own journey.

SAMYAK AYURVEDA

In 2023, Dr. Meghana took a transformative step by establishing Samyak Ayurveda — a centre envisioned not just as a treatment facility, but as a sacred space for learning, healing, and transformation. Here, she integrates classical Ayurvedic treatments, personalised therapies, and immersive education to make Ayurveda accessible and effective for all.

As the head of Samyak Ayurveda, she now leads all Ayurveda consultations, oversees detox and wellness programs, conducts Ayurveda sessions for Yoga students, and guides the development of certification courses for aspiring Ayurvedic practitioners.

A Message from Dr. Meghana

“Health is not something to be chased in hospitals or found in a pill.

It is quietly cultivated — in the warmth of your kitchen,

through the rhythm of your daily routines,

and in the silence of your thoughts.

When food becomes your medicine,

habits become your strength, and the mind becomes your ally.

Healing is no longer an intervention, but a way of life.”
