1. Is there a specific day for arrival and departure?
No, you can arrive and depart on any day of the week. Your Panchakarma treatment can also begin on any day.
2. How long does the Panchakarma treatment take?
Panchakarma is a progressive therapy that works in stages, requiring time for the body to undergo detoxification and rejuvenation. We recommend a minimum of 14 days, but ideally, 21 days for optimal and long-lasting benefits.
3. How much time does the treatment take each day?
The daily treatment duration varies based on the therapies prescribed by your Ayurvedic doctor. On average, treatments last between 90 and 120 minutes, though some days may require longer or shorter sessions.
4. What is not included in the Panchakarma treatment package?
Our packages are all-inclusive, covering treatments, medications, Ayurvedic meals (full-board), yoga, meditation, and accommodation.
However, the following are not included:
Laundry services
Travel to and from the ashram
Flight tickets
Visa (if required)
5. Can I change my treatment package after arrival?
Yes, you may modify your package after arrival. However, if you opt for a more extensive treatment plan, additional charges may apply.
6. Can my partner accompany me if they don’t want to undergo treatment?
Yes, your partner is welcome to stay with you as a companion if you share a room. If they decide to take treatments or join classes, they can do so upon arrival.
7. Can I book additional treatments separately?
Yes, additional treatments can be booked, provided there are no contraindications. You can discuss this with your Ayurvedic doctor after arrival.
8. Is yoga included in the treatment?
Yes, yoga practices - including asana, pranayama, and meditation - are an integral part of the treatment package.
9. Can I leave the ashram during my treatment?
Yes, but only after consulting your doctor. During certain phases of the treatment (such as Purvakarma and Pashchat Karma), short outings may be permitted. However, we advise completing any extended trips before starting your treatment.
